You are more

than your

relationship status.

Minus a Plus One builds

connections through

vulnerability, hope and

humor, and seeks to

normalize those embracing

life on their own terms.

Welcome, my fierce,

amazing friend.

Minus a Plus One was created to connect strong, independent humans through encouragement, vulnerability, humor and hope. This space is intended to support those navigating life on their own terms and to encourage one another during seasons of life that may not mirror what society tells us it should look like.

Minus a Plus One is a place of positivity that is free from judgement of yourself and others. I hope to share my journey of becoming a strong, independent single woman with you in the hopes that you’ll feel less alone, laugh a little, and be encouraged to live your best life with or without a life partner.

Know that

You’re Not Alone

Each week I share a piece I’ve written that is raw and vulnerable, with the intention that someone reads it and connects to my story.

Some are deep and share real pain.

Others are lighthearted and radiate joy.

And others are simply to make you laugh.

But each are from the viewpoint of a 30-something-year-old female trying to navigate her way in a world that often times feels designed for couples and families.

Show up for collective moments of joy and pain so we can actually bear witness to inextricable human connection.
